Getting involved is easy when you live on campus!

学生 involved with organizations develop leadership skills and self-discipline, self-awareness and confidence, and learn time management while building relationships. These opportunities exist right in your residence hall!你知道吗?? BGSU has over 350 student organizations for students to join. 
 

Living on campus can be one of the most rewarding experiences throughout your time here at BGSU! Through living with a roommate, meeting your Resident Advisor and getting involved in your residence hall, living on campus not only brings the convenience of classrooms to your front door, but also brings you into the life and excitement of everything BGSU from athletics to theater, 学生活动及更多!

All on-campus residents are members of RSA.

Resident Student Association (RSA)

RSA is the coordinating body of the residential community. The purpose of NRHH is to work to provide students with opportunities and growth within the values of service and recognition. NRHH will accomplish this by collaborating with campus and community partners to provide programs to build and retain active membership. All students are encouraged to become involved in their RHC. Each hall sets up its own system of governance, with committees and events based on the interests of the residents. Many upper class students say their involvement in co-curricular activities at BGSU began with their involvement in RHC.

SMART计划

SMART计划 is a peer mentoring program offered by the Office of 居住生活. It is designed to help first-year residential students — especially those from marginalized populations—transition successfully to BGSU and to assist with retaining them into their second year and beyond. Participation in SMART is free and open to everyone.

常驻成功导师 serves as the first line of contact for first year residential students. The 住院成功导师 is responsible for developing a positive, supportive relationship with students, providing leadership and guidance in helping them adjust to life as a college student. RSMs are also responsible for event planning, implementation, and management.
